What independent sources confirm

• Beyond Nine Limited is an accredited Living Wage Employer, listed in the Living Wage Foundation's own register. That accreditation covers UK staff and regularly contracted workers, so it does not reach the overseas factories where most of the clothing is made.
• The company is on the Companies House register as Beyond Nine Limited, number 12119257, incorporated in July 2019 and active. It files small company accounts under the audit exemption, so there are no audited financials and no statutory non-financial disclosure.

What Beyond Nine reports about itself

These are the brand’s own statements. Purpose Picks has not independently confirmed them.

• Beyond Nine says 70 percent of its garments are made solely from natural fibres. No method or measurement date is given for that figure.
• The brand says it works with a small number of long-term manufacturing partners, runs an onboarding process before using a factory, and often limits production runs to around 50 pieces to avoid overproduction. No factory is named.
• The brand says its packaging paper is recycled and FSC certified and printed with vegan inks. That claim covers packaging, not the clothing.
• Since September 2024 the brand says it donates 10 percent of proceeds every third Friday of the month to the charity Pregnant Then Screwed. No donation total has been published.

What this does not tell you

• There is no published supplier list. The brand's own about page says it is still working to increase supply chain visibility and product traceability, which is an acknowledgement that the work is unfinished.
• No third-party labour audit was found, and no Fair Wear, Sedex or amfori membership is claimed by the brand or confirmed by any registry we could reach.
• Country of origin is shown per product, which is better than most peers, but it is self-declared. Sampled products are made in Turkey, India, the UK and Portugal.
• The brand no longer has a standalone sustainability page. The old address returns a 404.
• Several third-party blogs credit Beyond Nine with GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS and Sedex certification. The brand claims none of these itself and we found no registry entry for any of them, so those blog claims should not be relied on.

Who it suits

Someone buying mid to high price womenswear cut to work across pregnancy, postpartum and body change rather than for a few months, who is comfortable that the supply chain and materials claims are the brand's own and unaudited.
